Laws Museum Brings History to Life

The Laws Railroad Museum, 6 miles north of Bishop on U.S. 6, opens its entire 11 acres of historic buildings and displays to the public to celebrate Good Ole Days. Old time art and craft demonstrations, food, music and browsing back through history are the highlights of this family event. Call 760-873-8014.  Final Date  - To Be Announced.

Did You Know?

The town of Lone Pine is named after the lonely pine tree that was found at the mouth of Lone Pine Canyon. That pine tree was later destroyed in a flood.
